Getting started

1. Install the app. It imports your orders from the last 30 days and follows new orders from then on.
2. On the app home, click Turn on in theme editor. The theme editor opens App embeds with Sales popup switched on; click Save. No theme code is changed.
3. Under Settings, choose the corner, how it shows on phones and whether to show the buyer's country. Still testing with test orders? Turn on Include test orders, and turn it off when you launch.
4. Open your store and wait a few seconds: the popup shows a recent purchase in the corner.

What shoppers see

• "Someone bought" (or "Someone in Canada bought" with the country option), the product's name and photo, and how long ago, such as "2 hours ago". The popup links to the product.
• Each product once per visit, newest sale first. Cancelled and deleted orders are removed, gift cards and products not on your online store never show.
• A close button: once closed, no more popups for the rest of the visit.
• Text follows your store's language for English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese; times and countries in the shopper's language.

No popups showing?

• Check the app home: it shows whether the app embed was seen and how many recent sales there are to show.
• No recent orders in the time window means no popups, on purpose. Test orders are only shown when Include test orders is on.
• Closed the popup earlier? It stays closed until you open the store in a new tab or window.
• On Free, popups pause for the rest of the day (UTC) after 50 popup views.

Plans

Free: popups from your real orders of the last 7 days on every page except the cart, 50 popup views a day, the first popup after 8 seconds, one every 20 seconds, up to 5 per visit, corner and phone placement, optional country; a small "Powered by Mint Sales Popup" line shows in the popup. Pro ($5.99 / month, 7-day free trial): unlimited popup views, rules (pages, hidden products, orders from the last 1 to 30 days, product pages show their own product first, timing and popups per visit), styling (colours, corners, photo, wording), analytics (views, clicks, top products), no "Powered by" line. Plans are managed on Shopify's plan page (Plans → Choose a plan / Manage plan) and billed by Shopify. The app never upgrades you on its own.

Changing plans never deletes anything: your rules and styling are kept and come back when you upgrade again.

Privacy

See our privacy policy and security policy. In short: from orders the app keeps only the order ID, time, products and (if you turn it on) the shipping country, for at most 30 days; never names, emails, phone numbers or addresses.
